University students thought that Debbie Traylor may be the next country artist to hit it big. Traylor opened for Toby Keith at the spring fling 2000. Live Appearances: Debbie Gautreau 1976-77, performed every Saturday night on a live radio show. She opened for Ronnie Milsap, Ronnie Mc Dowell and Porter Wagner in Walker LA National Special Olympics: Debbie Gautreau along with John Bankhead of Louisiana. Recorded an official record for the event. Ms Gautreau performed at the LSU football stadium to thousands of handicapped Olympians who received her with open hearts. Debbie received an award from Eunice Kennedy Shriver, while she performed on the morning show on WBRZ channel 2 live. She was presented with a plaque signed by Mrs. Kennedy and a bronze medal.
